We spent a couple of weeks out at Will's folks house in Umbria, where we took a few more Italian lessons and I finished up the translation of an Equestrian catalog (don't ask).
Following a book from the house called Circular Walks and took a few walks around Montone and Umbertide (oom-BER-tee-day, not UM-ber-tied). On one hearty hilly walk, we climbed a hill and came across the land where religion meets technology. Upon closer examination, we found it to be even stranger...
Ok, I swear, I will get to the rest of this story, but right now we're taking off for Sardinia where I am apparently about to learn to Scuba. Who knew?
